Family ReunionOne ot the largest family reunions over held in 111nn was that of theSwinney family which was held at the home of G. C. Swinney on Sunday,September 3.The (lay was ideal for such a big gathering and a bountiful basket dinner was spread on the lawn at noon. During the afternoon the childrenplayed games and the older ones spentthe time in conversation and takingpictures.I here were 98 present for this most enjoyable occasion and they were aswillows: From Indianapolis, Ind., Mr.end Mrs. Richard Swinney and children. Mrs. Edna Smith and Mrs. Stella Shiple of Moresville, Mrs. Lucv O’Conner, Richard Swinney, Cleve Swinney. Edgar Swinney, Jess Swinney. Pat Swinnev and Mrs. Pauline Zimmerman of Indianapolis, and Frank Swinney of Martinsville. Four generations in the Ed Swinney family were represented and they were: Ed.Swinney, his son. Chas. Swinney, Mrs. Dorothy Clarkeston. daughter of Chas! Swinnev, and her daughter, Lois; another four generations represented were Grandma Smith, her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Swinney, Mrs. Clarkeston and her daughter.
