Mr. Silva thought there was something wrong and notified Capt. Fleetwood, so when Sexton went for the goods yesterday he was followed after leaving the store, and it was soon found that he was heading for Kaskei’s place. He was then arrested on the charge of forgery.A part of his effects are held at the barracks. Several orders for goods on Silva’s store, signed by T. M. Fleetwood, and two pawn tickets from Kaskel’s shop. Sexton did not know what to say about the matter, as the evidence was too strong against, him. The charges were preferred by Capt. Fleetwood.
