The'show will be held next'Tuesday, Wednesday and1 Thursday.Ah estimated 250 tents are being constructed on North’s farm to house various exhibits. There are also about 60 buildings being built for demonstration purposes.. The show, which drew an estimated 325,000 visitors last year in Illinois, is sponsored- by Prairie • Farmer Magazine _ in cooperation with Purdue University and nearly 300 public institutions and commercial firms.include new farming methods and demonstrations in the use of new chemicals in connection with farming.More than 25.0 exhibitors are expected to display farm equipment, valued at more than S3 million.small planes wishing to land at the show. ■Eight area churches will prepare and serve meals to the show’s visitors.The Purdue University Agricultural Extension service will sponsor a1 pumpkin contest with prizes going to the owners of the largest pumpkins. The Purdue organization will also sponsor a rooster crowing contestand a dog obedience show..The tents are being constructed so the North farm resembles a small city.The Indiana Flying Farmers have constructed a temporary landing strip to accommodateScheduled to participate are St. Joseph Church of Reynolds, Community Church of Chalmers, Methodist Church of Brookston, Federated Church of Brookston,.Methodist Church of Battle Ground and three rural White county churches, Liberty Chapel, Mt.
