She will aing three selections, two of them spirituals.Mias Waters studied voice and languages in the New England Conservatory of Music for six years. In•39 she was the winner of the Na-ional Federation of Music Clubs contest in Boston and received scholarships from Cincinnati and Boston to study abroad. Among those with whom she worked In Paris were Nadia Boulanger, Louis Charles Bot-taille and Gabriel Grovelez. conductor of the Paris opera, and in 1932 she sang In a contest sponsored by the Union Professional of Masters of French Song, when she won a certificate for her exemplary diction •gainst other French singers. =-
