And how our forefathers would have laughed at the idea of an atomic bomb, or a guided missile, or television.So, it isn’t at ail unlikely. . .what could be causing that dreadful, sulphuric odor? . . . that the so-called “monster” of Braxton County really did frighten seven persons on a darkenedhillside.Stranger things have happened in the . . . sniff . , - course of events, sometimes disguised in normal . . . what is the meaning of this heavy, nauseous, smoke? . . , earthly progress.The valley smog must be getting heavier ... but to get on with this editorial, one must admit that the addition of color to television came as no surprise . . . could that be a greenish, claw-like hand reaching through the window? ... to us moderns, yet , . . surely it’s our imagination, but something seems to be choking . , .
