Many young ladies and matrons have agreed to help in the candy and doll departments. The only thing left to do is for every member of the Legion and ex-service man to show his face around the Carnival grounds the first night of the Fair. To be frank, the Legion stunt is a big thing and it is the duty of every man to help put it over. The ultimate success of the carnival and dance will depend on the way things are carried out the first night. Roberts burned to the ground. The fire had gained good headway before it was discovered and by the time the department arrived there was no hope of saving the edifice.Mrs Roberta and the children had bet-n staying in the house every night, but yesterday they went out to spend the night with Mrs Robert’s father ami mother, Mr and Mrs E. B. Hoagland, to help celebrate Mr Hoagland’s birthday.The cause of the fire is unknown.
