YOUNG PEOPLE VISIT CITY.Made Trip Down River on the Steamer Brisnswick.To The Times—Miss Bailie Wilson and Mr. James Waldron took a very pleasant trip to Georgetown Sept. 4. They went on the steamer Brunswi k, which left Rhems Montfe# night at 12 o’clock and arrived at Georgetown Tuesday morning about 6.30. Mr. S. H. Cooper met them at the boat and escorted them to his house. Tuesday afternoon two young ladies, Misses Nelie Collins and Minnie Gladstone, called and we all spent a very pleasant afternoon, after which they went down to the drug store with Mr. James Waldron and enjoyed refreshments. They met some old school friends-, of Union High School. That night Mr. James Waldron carried Miss Isla Cooper and Miss Sallie Wilson to the movies and enjoyed the scenes given by Miss Litty Flettcher very much. Wednesday morning Miss Lucia Patterson and little neice called and asked them to go for a boat ride that afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Cathou to see a ship polled up that bad sunk, which the^ accepted. After they came back the Messrs Farris took Miss Isla Cooper and Miss Sallie Wilson and Mr. James Waldron for another ride in their gasoline launch. That night Mrs. Cooper gave them in a farewell party. Among. those who were present'were Misses Nelie Collins, Lucia and Sallie Patterson, Sallie Wilson, Sarah Griswold, Mary Loyal and Isla Cooper. The boys were Messrs Percy Foxworth, Dewey Hath-cock, Charles Lohr, Frank Collins, Jc4 Bull, James Waldron and Amos Farris. They played games until 9 o’clock, and then went in the parlor and had music, rendered by Miss Sal-| lie Wilson, after which they enjoyed re cake and lemonade, served by Mr. and ill Mrs. Cooper. Next they played gamesie! until 11 o’clock then the guests departed for home. Mr. James Waldron and Miss Sallie Wilson left Thursday :y j at 2.30 o’clock fc r home, taking with le! Ihem Miss Isla Ccoper, who had beenspending a month in town. The trip was enjoyed by both, but Mr. JamesWaldron caught some new girls.Crib Apple.
