Gates’ court, Eos Angeles, seeking an injunction to restrain Mildred Bromley from using the name of “Anne Howe/’She told the judge that she hadwon the name in a. radio contest.; that she was the only “Anne Howe” in existence; that it meant a lot of money to her, and that no other person therefore had the right to call herself “Anne Howe.”Miss Page’s attorneys cited the case of,Charlie Chaplin a few years ago as a precedent and the injunction was granted.And so.
