Monmouth is to have a new operahouse. J. II. Pattee has purchased theold Unity church building on SouthMain street and will remodel it andconvert it into an opera house. Goodfor Mr. Pattee. He proposes to beginwork immediately and have it finishedby the tirstmf next January* it willhave a seating capacity of 800 and wil.be arranged with all modern conveniences.
