American soiiders enjoyed the dances during World War II and the dances continued to catch on until square dancing has become a major recreational industry.Duncan added that a unique cookbook has been released in honor of the golden anniversary of American square dancing. Other than recipes, it includes the story of square dancing through little-known historical fact and anecdotes from some of the 6,000.000 square dances in the U.S. and abroad. For details on the cookbook.
