Tuesday.Club members were shown throughout the plant by Carl Bruner and A. Albriton, who acted as guides and explained the manufacture of the various handles.The Bruner-Ivory Handle company employes approximately 150 persons. Approximately 30 per cent of fcheir products arc exported to Australia and New Zealand and other foreign countries.Members of the club were presented souvenir hammer handles and walking canes, manufactured .by the company plant.At the luncheon meeting in New. Capital hotel plans were made to send several large Hempstead county watermelons with delegates to the Mo-Kan-Ark convention to be held next month at Wichita, Kansas.Delegates to the meeting are President R. V. Herndon, Sid Bundy and John P. Cox.Guests of the club Tuesday were Lawrence Martin of the Hope High School, faculty and a Mr. Prescott of MeCaskilL Next week’s program i will be in charge of G. T.
