It was opened Aug. 1, 1963,Dr. Matheu served as acting superintendent of the provincial psychiatric hospital at North Battleford, Conn., for two months. He was assistant superintendent of that institution when he returned to Longcliff on July 10, 1963, after having been gone from here three years.
