Garden Citians Are In Winning BandGary Deibert, 405 E. Hazel, and Jerry Wilcox. 701 N. 3rd, are members of the six-piece band, “The Fabulous Flames”, which won nrize of ^OO in the National Festival of Talent Contest last Friday at Wichita.The band, which has played at mnnv events in the DodgeCity-Garden City area, will represent Kansas in the national finals. This contest will be next year in Dallas. Tex., and the winner will receive a recording contract with a major recording company.
