Ballot Being ReadiedUiycees Ask PopularVote On Pageant IdeaTh« Sarasota Junior Chamber of Commerce plana to make it possi ble, through newspaper* and the mall, for everyone in the city to vote on whether or not the theme ot the Sara de Sola Pageant should be changed from the traditional Spanish to Scotch or some' thing else.At a meeting earlier this wedt the Jaycees unofficially endorsed the change of the theme of the late winter pageant from Spanish toScotch, ; i;?The city has little if any authentic Spanish background but a wealth of Scotch tradition it can accurately and historically callupon and Scotch celebrations are overwhelmingly successful in otherparts of the country in the mer, the group noted. iThe question of a change to a* j Scotch theme has been kickedaround for several years as has achange to a circus theme.Some Jaycees at the meeting this week felt the change to a circus theme would not be as beneficial to the city and the Junior Chamber of Commerce as a change to the Scotch motif.
