Mr. and -Mrs. Henry Leverance ancl Mr. and Mrs. Win. Leverance of Ne-koosa made an auto trip to Wild Rose last week, returning home Monday. Mr. Leverance reports that everything down in that country was killed by the frost or Sunday night, there being large Gelds oi: potatoes that were in line shape on Sunday that were entirely frozen down the folio wing day.The city work on Third avenue lias been entirely completed, and the street is now paved south of Grand Avenue down as far as iis intersection with First avenue, and it presents a fine appearance. The street car company still have their part of the work to do between the tracks, so that it may be some time yet before all of the work is done. The part between the track will be paved withbrick.
