At I he City Opera House.Miss Mabel Paige* the charming little actress, presented last night at the City Opera House a three act comedy entitled “The Little Egyptian.” The play was well presented by Miss Paige, who played the part of a clever young miss of fourteen summers who knew how to take care of herself without the advice of busy bodies and meddlers.Mr. Charles Frey, the henpecked bus blind, played his part remarkably well and received generous applause, especially when, by special request, he sang the selection entitled “A Song of Songs.” Miss Rose Bernard, as I^eona Dalton, who played fast and loose to gain a fortune and the man she loved, was particularly strong.Tonight the company will present “The Little Cadet.”■ ■+• ----------
