ObituariesGeorge McAndrewWARD — George McAndrew died :n Jones Memorial Hospital Thursday after a long illness.Born in Ward July 31, 1885, he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth Baker McAndrew. He married the former Carrollotta Corwin, who survives, in 1910. A dairy farmer for 50 years, he retired in 1965.He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hollenbeck, Greenwood and six sons: Louis, Friendship; Francis, McLean, Va.; Howard, Wellsville; Vincent, Spen-cerport; George, Scio; James, Wellsville; stepson Edward Dougherty, Mentor, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren,Three sisters, Mrs. Helen Gasper, Schenectady, Mrs. Edna Veness, Rochester, and Mrs. Kathrine Ellis, Alfred, and two brothers, Leo, Alfred, and Dr. William, Oil City, Pa., also survive. Still living are several nieces and nephews.Mr. McAndrew was a member of the Holy NameSociety of the BlessedSacrament Church, Andover.Friends called Thursday from7 to 9 p.m. and may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the James B. Mulhoiland Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be conducted Saturday at9:30 a.m.The Rev. John R. Shea will conduct the funeral service in the Blessed Sacrament Church at the 10 a.m. mass, Saturday.Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Andover.
