Jack McCormick, who did the sporting news for the New York Evening Sun, and was, previous to that, city editor of the Cincinnati Enquirer, has joined the nomadic army of advance agents, whose ranks are being recruited from the foreeB of good newspaper men. McCormick bad no superior in his specialty, but Billy Crano lured him from the path of newspaper virtue and self denial to the brGad way of theatrical journalistic puffing that leadeth down sometimes to destruction, but quite as often to wealth.
