Mist i Marjorie Joesting took the cups for the second and third prizes in the selections preceding the choosing of Miss America 1926, which will ( be made tonight.While the selection of the prize winners last night is not an official 1 indication of the final choice tonight it is generally understood that Miss America will be one of the three, jMiss Greater New York and Miss Washington both carried off the honors in white satin evening gowns studded with rhinestones. iThe selections were made from the beauties of the five sections of the country, the last six contestants before the prize winners were chosen being Miss Baltimore. Mildred Adam; Miss Kansas City, Marguerite Jordan; and Miss Elizabeth. Attired in taffeta bathing suits that j looked more ornate than useful, the inter-city beauties brought forth cheer after cheer from the crowds.
