However, all their efforts to make the event a st^ceesswill meet with disappointment if the farmers of the county do not cooperate with them by exhibiting samples of all their live stock and agricultural products. While many of the counties of Indiana have suffered from drouth this year, to a degree that ruined the crops of vegetables and fruit, Jennings County has been especially blessed and the Jennings County products, both in lines of vegetables and fruits, that are at present on the market, are exceptionally fine. For Hi is reason, the merchants of North Vernon expect to see the best display of fruit, vegetables, grain, etc., at the North Vernon Fall Festival, this year, that has ever been seen at any agricultural exhibit in Indiana. Liberal premiums have been offered on all kinds of agricultural products and also on live stock, and Jennings County's farmersshould show their appreciation bybringing to this city, during Fall Festival week, samples of every kind of fruit, vegetables and grain that their farms produce. The merchants of North Vernon, the citizens of the city, and all who attend theFall Festival expect to see a goodagricultural display. At each of the three preceeding Fall Festivals held in this city, the quality of the products exhibited has been pronounced fine by all who viewed the exhibits. Last year, when crops were poor throughout the state, the products exhibited at the North Vernon Fall Festival, were pronounced fine, but not at any of the Fall Festivals held, has there been as large a number of entries in any exhibit, as there should have been. The number of entries in each exhibit should number one hundred or more instead of ten or twenty as has been the case. If a farmer liassome very fine samples of a certain product, which he wishes to exhibit at the Fall Festival, he should of course bring those veg-clnnatl, spent the week end with Harry Kieth and family.FOR FINE TOILET ARTICLES, PERFUMES, TALCUMS, TOILET WATERS, CHAMOIS SKINS, ETC.
