Floyd County HorticulturalSociety.Tha Floyd County Horticultural 8ociety met at the Hall in Elwardsville on the night of the first Saturday in September. After some business was disposed of a rest olution was adopted as follows:Resolved, That we use our best efforts to encourage farmers and fruit growers to make entries of their products at the coining County Fair that we may help to make the Association a permanent one.Some of the enterprising members have engaged Mr. Albert Burkhart, artist, of Georgetown, to photograph our hall that Itmay show up ih our next State HorticuU tural reportWe expeefe to have our building famish* ed with chairs, tables, stoves, etc., by the time of our next meeting.A vote of thanks was tendered Mrs W J Loyd for presentation of a fine evergreen wreath enoiroling the significant word '•Welcome,” which now decorates the Interior of the hall.We are just a little bit anxious to have a nice library, we have already quite a coN lection of Reports and other books, and we are expecting more.
