Volgers Meet West Indies OfficerW'.v;interviewing a harbor policeman at Bridgetown, Barbados, West Indies, was one of the experiences of George Volger, manager of KWPC of Muscatine, in production of o radio series The Fomily Flies to the West Indies. The officer being interviewed is shown in the picture wearing the traditional costume dating back to the days of Admiral Horatio Nelson. In the picture ore Mrs. Volger and the Volqers' daughters, Mary Elizabeth, lower right, ond Thelma Clore. At Volger's right is Station Sergeant Kenneth Murphy, and at the left the coxswain of the harbor police boat on which the interview was held.The Volger family left in mid-August for the West Indies Federation to produce IS quarter-hour progroms for use by 21 midwestern stations. They expect to be back in the midwest this week.
