TIIK COOLEY JIT EXILE COtPAN'Y.Rational amusement Is a necessity in every properly organized community and wo nro fortunate when we can enjoy public 1 entertainments free from those blemishes of coarseness and vulgarity which so often characterize such affairs. It Is therefore a real pleasure to us to s|cak in high commendation of the exhibition of the CooleyJuvenile Company which occurred in the j Senate Chamber of the old Capitol last Tuesday night. We have not space to give ! a description of their performance, but ! can (uily say that the little Misses Fanny, S.inellaand M aggie, and Master Adel Cooley performed their parts admirably and the result was a chaste, innocent and charming entertainment, in which there was nothing to which the most fastidious could object. Mrs. Cooley presided at the piano and made pleasant music while giving direction to the carrying out of the programme of the evening. We commend the Cooley Juvenile Company to the favor of the public, in the sincere belief that thofce who may patronize tl.em will have no just and reasonable ex-Itectalion disappointed.
