Square dance carnival will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15The Paris Squares Square Dance Club will sponsor a square dance carnival from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Community Exhibit Center at the fairgrounds in Paris. .At 7 p.m. hot dogs, chips, dips, coffee, tea and punch will be available.The “Recycle Shop” will open at 7:30 p.m. Square dancers are urged to bring square dance attire to sell or trade and to price and size each item.Those attending are also urged to bring items (food or white elephant items) to be used in the “Silent Auction. Proceeds will go to the club.The grand march will begin at 8 p.m. Jim Burns will be the caller.There will be country and western dancing after each tip.“Donations are $5 per couple and $2.50 per single.For more information call Bill Young, 784-7118; Ross Asbill, 785-6276; Jerry Dennis, 785-3870.
