FAMILY TIESARE RENEWEDHome of Mr. and Mra. William Min-tie Scene of Family Gathering On the Occasion of a Daughter’s VisitOne of* the most pleasant of days was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mintle on Linn street, Glenwood, on Monday, September 1, when a reunion of the Mintle family took place. More than thirty were there to renew family ties and to re* late old experiences and bring back pleasant memories of the past.The incentive for a reunion at this time was a viBit of a sister, Mrs. Sal-lie Tooley and son Walter from Hastings, Neb. There were five * of the eight brothers and sisters, present. Those who were unable to ajttend were Charlie, of California, Joseph, of Washington, and Mrs. Mary Smith of New Jersey. Those of the immediate family present were Andrew, George, William Mintle, Mrs. Sallie Tooley and Mrs. Ed Mitchel.Dinner was made up for the most part from the products of the Iowa soil and farms, for it must be remembered that the Mintle brothers are agriculturally inclined.The family left feeling that it was a memory worth recalling at any time.!££
