FOG CAUSED TWO CASCO BAY ACCIDENTSPORTLAND, Me, Sept 8-Fok was re-sponsible for two accidents today in Portland Harbor and Casco Bay.The small bay steamer Tourist, with half a dozen passengers on board, struck on the Hat rocks at the eastern end of Little Chebeague Island a short time after midnight. The passengers' were landed and spent the night on the I island. The steamer was floated this morning with no damage.The freight steamer Massasoit of the Maine Coast Transportation Company, I while docking at Customhouse Wharf. I crashed into the bow of the United States lighthouse tender Hibiscus, which was lying at the pier. A hole was torn : in the woodwork of the Massasoit for a distance of 10 feet, but the injury waswell above the water line. Temporary repairs were made to enable the steamer to proceed down the coast. The Gov- j eminent vessel was not damaged. j
