Karras and Kaul, J_.was_onIy._able to ride on Wednesday’s segment, the short trip from Ames to Des Moines. I enjoyed every mile of it, and I would have liked to have attempted the ride on to Davenport. .It was fun being Interviewed by your bright, young reporter as the next oldest rider on Wednesday. I am 71, and do notpractic practice or bicycle riding. I had a short visit with that grand young bike rider Clarence Pickard; he is truly phenomenal.
