There is a tradition that when Andrew F. Kelso came to Indiana with his parents in 1817, he helped to push a two wheeled cart all the way from North Carolina to Dubois County.In the cart were his personal property and general supplies. It is di claimed by the Kelso family that' ST5*'Andrew F. Kelso settled at Knoxville in 1826.
