I oth-I thought the program at the park Monday night was -good, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Most of the people who were actually responsible for the park being made a reality were not mentioned at the program. The idea of building a park was originally though of by your city commission here in Bronte and your county commissioner. Members of the City Council spent a lot of time and work meeting people from Robert Lee and working out the details of the county park program. They, and other citizens, circulated petitions calling the bond election to build the parks at Bronte and Robert Lee . andlvere'SdWkM* to ’rnufeh eritfcUJin by some 'who were against ‘ the program. Many of those people who were against the park were down there Monday night and seemed to be enjoying it just as much as the next fellow, which was as it should be.Commissioner Howard Brock and his county employees are to be congratulates on the time, money and labor they put in on the park. Without their help, there wouldn't be any park.Another group who deserves mention is the park board.
