Farm Bureau Project* To Play Big Part in Allamakee Co. FairWaukon, la., Sept. a—Specia' Allamakee County Farm Bureau pra jects will play an important part In the county fair which begau her# Tuesday.The 4-H club exhibit this yea-consists of booths, domnnstratin * teams, dairy calves, bahy beevrr and draft colts. There are six 4 hgirls clubs in the county and ear of these has a booth and a deme-:stration team. The demonstrationwill be held Wednesday and will h* judged by Miss Hazel Bown of theExtension Service.The dairy calf and hahy beef hibit this year is the largest of ar year thus far, about 100 b^ins shown. Pure breds and grade'* alt;-shown separately in Holstein. Guer sey. Jersey Ayrshire and Brow n Swiss herds. Judging will be done Floyd Johnston of Iowa State co! lege. The bahy beef calves will i lt;judged by William McArthur of Mason City and each breed will hr shown separately. Judging of th* draft colts will be done by Harry \ IJnn of the Iowa Horse and Mule Breeders' association. In addition. 3 showmanship contest and a Juni* judging contest will be held. All r: these will be judged on WednesdayOn Thursday afternoon the 4-H club parade will be held in which ay 4-H girls club members, leaders, th-dairy calf, baby beef, and colt club members and their calves and cob* will be exhibited.
