Work is about to be began by tbe state at tbe Lewlstown reservoir, Tbe gates bare been railed and tbe water ie being let out into tbe river. Tbe reservoir ia quite low at the present time, but about eight feet more water will be drained away, after which the reservoir will be practically dry in many places, and tbe topography will be well exposed. The state will thenproceed to remove the stnmpe and torepair the banks. The gates have been screened, to beep the fish from rooning out into the river and all fishermen prediet that as tbe water is drawn away the fish will naturally move to deep water and that there will be better fishing in Indian Lake than has been seen for many years.
