MENDOTA FAIRThe Meudota fair is receiving a splendid attendance this year, and bo far promises to be much more than self-supporting The attractions are all first-class, and there has been no day but what anyone could put in the whole afternoon enjoying themselves. While lhe races have not been np to those in the grand circuit for speed, still they have been interesting. In the two-year old class, trotting Wednesday, John linker won first money with hia bay mare Sliver, a full sister to Birdie. L. Furbush’s Alroy marc, Nellie F., captured the second heat and was given second money Worm ley’s Fred Monroe came id thinL | The 2.50 class the same day was taken by a Chicago horse named **Aly” who has been protested at a number of fairs as a ringer,” and was. so protested at Mendotu The horse has been eutered in almost every race at a number of fairs in this vicinity, aud for a horse 10 or 11 yeais old, without a record and with the speed of this horse, it certainly does look-suspicious.
