The Ney club is made up of good material and w'e know of no reasons why it should not prosper.Genial Bill Donley, the village blacksmith, acted as the host on that occasion, and the way he entertained the organizers wrould haye done credit to a king.Defiance county is now pretty well supplied with Republican league clubs. Thereare twelve townships in the county and j nine clubs organized.The first one organized was at Defiance, July 27th. Then followed clubs at Mark Center, Hicks ville, Sherw'ood, Farmer Center, Independence, Highland Center and Ney.
