His state- vi ment is as follows: w“Last Sunday afternoon I noticed what j v, appeared to be a large green-looking eloud coming from a westerly direction toward : tjmy house. It was a long distance off and v:the rain was falling heavily. Shortly after-ward it became very cold, in fact so cold ! pi that I went indoors, lit a big fire and put on a big heavy coat. When I came out i a : again the big green-cloud was almost over ! ^ | the house, and the air wat as cold as on a 1 | winter day. I watched the cloud for a few , fc minutes, and then bail commenced falling t, and I was forced to go indoors again. lu-side of half an hour it became as dark as night, and I never felt so funny and heavy in all my life before. The wind howled and the hail fell in stones as big as eggs.
