Muscatine.A group of friends gathered as the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gray on Monday evening, August 24, to help Mr. Gray celebrate his birthday. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cole and son, Jack, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Kettle, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Smith and daughters, Pearl and Buelah, and sons, Marvin, Vernon and Paul, Mrs. Albert Gray, and Mrs. Sanford Gray and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kail of Boone. The evening was spent in a social way and in playing cards, after which refreshments of Ice cream, cake and coffee were served.
