«?Odd Fellows for Many YearsForty-four members of Oak Park lodgeNo. 1030, I. O. O. F., were present atthe regular meeting Tuesday night. - Refreshments were served, and among the visitors were two old time Odd Fellows, one of whom, Thomas Albee, has been an Odd Fellow for more than sixty years and is considered one of the oldest members of the order in the state.He resides at 1024 South Grove. The other was Mr. Fairfield of Paul Berthalodge, Scott, Ohio, who has been an Odd Fellow fifty-seven years. Both agreed that they enjoyed the lodge meetings and would rather visit there than anv place they knew.Mr. Lindblum of Good , Samaritanlodge, Springfield, Mo., was another visitor, who. also ehjoyed the meeting and promised to attend the meetings as often as possible during his stay in Oak Park.At the meeting next Tuesday evening the regular election of officers will be held and the second degree will be conferred on four candidates.J. ■■ -------B. C. Porter, formerly of River Forest, has purchased thru Sharpe Furbeck the residence of Thomas MacKinnon at 332 North Scoville, which he is now altering, with a view to making his home there. ---------Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Morash of 600 South Grove have a little son, James Roger Jr., born August 16.
