Sheriff ’ the stuffLilly- Runals Concert.Last night Miss Lillie Runals, assisted by the Americus club and Sebastian Simonson gave an entertainment at the Ope-ra House which was certainly tlic musical event of the season. Although the night was rainy a good and select audience was present. Tlis entertainment was opened by a piano solo by Sebasti an Simonson, whicli was loudLv encored. The recitations by Miss Runals were excellent and showed her to be first among eiccution ists. Her singing was also very fine, and the verdict of the best musica' judges present was favorable. She is a young and talented vocalist and is destined to reach a creditable place in the musical world. The bass nolo as sung by Lou. Yout was very fine, alao the song by R. Robinson, both creating a fnvcrable impression. Tho singing of the Americus Quartette, composed of Robinson, Bull, Richards and Yout, was good, and they were loudlv applauded, and during the eyeaing were presented with a handsome basket of flowers. Miss Runals was also presented with a basket of choice flowers. The pisno playing by Sebastian Simonson was the best ever listened to in this city, and he is a fine performer- In conclusion we would say that Messrs.
