Most Successful Homecoming Event Held Last FridayFrom the moment the football pep meeting opened last Friday afternoon until the final whistle for the Aurelia-Primghar football gamesounded that night, the Aurelia Homecoming celebration, was without ! a question the most successful of any such event ever staged.The homecoming activities got underway at 2:45 when the pep meeting was held in the high school auditorium. It was planned by the cheerleaders.Homecoming King and Queen selected the previous day were announced at this meeting. They were Roger Glawe as king and JoAnn Will' as queen. Roger was crowned as king in fitting ceremony. The queen was crowned that night at the football game as told in another story.The homecoming, parade was therr formed at the north entrance of the school house and marched to Main street as is also described in another story. • •Other stories concerning the homecoming day found elsewhere tells of the colorfull parade in the afternoon, Aurelia’s victory over Primghar at night, by a score of 32-0, crowning JoAnn as queen, and a demonstration by the high school marching band.
