ALBJNO DEER WITH HERDOF TEN AT CLERMONT FARMGeorge Sillies, popular Clermont resident, wai! a pleasant culler at the Dei n or rat of] ice Iasi Thursday and staUd that In view of the many stories indicating the presence of an unusual number of boars in rounty forests this year, hunters might over loo 1c the fact that deer, too, are unusually abundant this: year, particularly in the Clermont region.The well known Clermont man stated that the sight of deer in his fields has been a daily one and Umt one day recently two herds, one of four deer and the other consistine of six deer ten in all — visited his farm simultaneously.One of the herds contained a dwarf-size white albino deer, certainly one of the rarest freaks of wild life to be reported in this region in a long time.Reports of the State Game Commission state that bear and deer are starving from poor feeding in the forest this year.The animals are driven by hunger to the desperate point of making bold daylight raids on the Reids and the kindly Clermont man, in common with many others of his kind throughout the county, has not disturbed them.Mr. Si I Res stated that deer have devoured most of the buckwheat and oat crops at his farm this fall. ************
