FOR THE CUMBERLAND TIMES-NEWSFROSTBURG — Trans-gender Awareness Month will begin with two events hosted by the Frostburg State University student organization, Breaking Through GLASS (Bisexuals, Transgenders. Gays, Lesbians, and Straight Supporters), on Monday.The first event will be a “TVans 101” workshop from 2 to 3 p.m. in Tawes Hall room 208 on the FSU campus. This workshop, presented by transgender artists and activists Katastrophe and Athens Boys Choir, will impart all the basic information someone would need to understand trans identity.A portion of the workshop will be dedicated to vocabulary, terminology and questions that should and should not be asked.
