Community HandLast concert scheduledThe Richardson Community Band will close its second season of outdoor concerts Sunday with a 4 p.m. performance on the south lawn of the Recreation Center at Floyd and Belt Line Road.Joe Frank, professor of instrumental music education at Southern Methodist University, director of the SMU Symphonic Band, and former coordinator of music for the Richardson Independent School District, will conduct the band.Selections on the free program will include “Finlandia'YOU COULD WIN INDAILY DRAWINGComo In And Sign UpSIMPSON-BARNETT DRUGby Jean Sibelius and “The Free l,ance March by John Philip Sousa.The band has been playing as an all-volunteer group since November of 1970 Membersare a diverse group of amateur musicians who come from as far away as Ennis for the Wednesday evening rehears als Both men and women are among the active participants
