The colfee house, located in the basement of the Beckley - Raleigh County YMCA, will be open from 7 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. SaturPink Elephant To Open Saturdayday. Membership in the Pink Elephant will be 50 cents per year charged at the door. The “club” features pink elephants on the walls, a juke box, soft drink, machines and an atmosphere set by blue and red lights lining the walls. The combo, Four Fifths and a Pint; will be featured at the opening. The combo,shown at a rehearsal session at the Pink Elephant, is made up of (from left) Phil Shucet, lead guitar; George Campbell, drums; Paul Lyons, lead singer; Paul Ragland, organ, and John Sherey, base quitar.
