Says Few Old Landmaiks Remain.Tuesday ^forenoon there motored quietly into Galva a party of travelers who had come from Atkinson, Their-home is in Murray, Iowa. They were D. 0. Dufur, a farmer of eighty years, W. H. 'Daniels, a prosperous Iowa business mttrand their two grandsons.They stopped to get a bite to eat at the North Side restaurant and when they bad swallowed a cup of coffee and a sandwich they decided to look about the town,As they stepped out of the eating house they saw a sign, “The Galva News”, upon the window of the building next door.“Let’s go in”, said Mr, Dufur.Daniels agreed and they entered the News office.The editor rose to greet his visitors.“Are you Mr, Boyd”?, asked Mr. Dufur. The editor pleaded not guilty and told his name.“Well**, said Dufur, “when 1 left here in 1868^ Boyd, I have forgotten his first name, was running the Galva News and I wondered if ^ou were any relative”,* x yThe editor explained that Mr. E. E, Fitch was now the owner and published of the News and his visitors seated themselves. ■*
