Ada Jane HookerMrs. Ada Jane Hooker was born Jan. 8, 1894, in Alamance County on Burch Bridge Road.She lives in Burlington, and is a member of Clover Garden A.M.E. Church, which she joined at age 14. She is the mother of the church — its oldest member.She attends the Senior Citizens Center on Broad Street each day, and attends ceramics class each Tuesday.She was the daughter of Brooks and Lizzie Faucette Chrismon. She married John Moore and they had 10 children and she had five step-children. Her second husband was Albert Hooker. Seven of her children survive, along with 50 grandchildren, 106 great-grandchildren and 86-great-great-grandchildren
