jGallery To Show yirtists WorkstI Dream of a gallery where local [artists may exhibit their work f-willc. become a reality on November 3 when Tres Palma Gallery, in the new Paradise Shops on North Scottsdale road, holds its first show during National Art week.Through the interest and cooperation of Sarah Willmoth, operation of Sarah Willmoth, the garage building in the Paradise shops has been secured for the gallery.Garnet Moore Keeney, Scottsdale artist, has organized six working artists to operate the gallery on a cooperative basis. The supporting artists are Edna SlocUmb, Judy Perkins Saunders,Lois Later, Frances Emory, Virginia Rau and Mrs. Keeney.Each exhibit at the gallery will continue approximately two weeks. In order to make the project self supporting a minimum gaUfrjr fee will be guaranteed by eSi participating artist and be returned if commissions are made for their sales. Guest artists will be. included as often as space permits and one man shows held after the beginning Of the new year.Mrs. Keeney adds, “We are hopeful that this effort will meet with public approval and also be an added attraction to our winter guests to the extent that we can make it a permanent Art Alliance in time and include exhibitions for the benefit and promotion of all our regional creative craftsmen.”
