The tfrookston town board has granted a franchise to the Prairie Telephone Co., a corporation with a capital stock of $10,000/ and composed of Ira Bordner, Dave Ross, Jack Kneale and J. H. Johnson. They propose to conduct an exchange system in Brookston, and to run lines to Delphi, Chalmers, Mon-ticello. Dern, Round Grove, Badger, Prairie Church and other points.
