Fellowship Group Greets Spencers, Aids Sherman FundThe Rev. and Mrs. Donald H. Spencer of Warren, Pa., were guests at the dinner of the Church and Community fellowship of Webb Horton Memorial Presbyterian Church on Monday evening, and greeted their former parishioners The dinner was in charge of Mr. and Mrs, John Arfmann, Jr., chairman, assisted by Mr, and Mrs, Leroy Appelbee, Mr. and Mrs, Donald Moore, Mr. and Mrs; Edmund Rodiek and Miss Emily Space. Mr. Spencer formerly was’pastor here.Mrs. Katherine Greenwood, presided at the business meeting following the dinner. The members will send a contribution to the Glenn Sherman Fund. Mr. and Mrs. Arfmann announced that plans were under way for a “foreign candy booth fcr the annual church fair to be held Nov. 21 and 22. An executive board meeting will be held at the church on Monday evening, Nov. 4, at 7:30. Mrs. Greenwood announced that World Community Day will be observed on Friday, Nov. 1, at the First Presbyterian Church.Howard B. Marlatt, program chairman, introduced the guest speaker, Mrs. Robert Nahm, secretary of the Middletown, Housing Authority, who spoke on David Moore Heights,_ Representatives of Courage Unlimited will be guests at the next dinner meeting, which will be held on Monday, Nov. 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Westminster Hall.
