KMAC Technician FoundDead By Announcer AfterProgram Fails To Get OnAirRAN ANTONIO, Oct 24 —Death which rod** the air, scorched the Ufa from Lamoyne B. Come-Hu*, radio technician, when he touched a 3000-volt wire while transmitting broadcast from the technical studio of station KMAC. atop the Bluebonnet hotel Friday morning.This was thp conclusion of Tdeu-tenant of Detectives A. P McDonald after he Inspected the transmitting mechanism.Found By AnnouncerThe body was discovered by A. R Bessan. announcer, who had beenannouncing from the broadcasting studio on the second floor of the hotel. Bcssan went to the transmitting room to investigate after W. W. McAllister station owner, had telephoned that hia program was not on the air,Bessan found the station's chief technician dead, apparently for more than an hour, and slumpedover a box-like rheostat on which he was working when death came, McDonald, called to the scene, found a live wire a few inches from the dead man's hands.Fllmtnating Burt From all appearances.
