Griffith, Yentura representative, were in Los Angeles yesterday to greet the arrivalof the new Overland car, known as:“the little car,” whose advent Ins ]been long heralded.The car is now here, on display inthe local salesroom.It is considered a revolution in carbuilding in this respect, that it givesthe small car the same easy ridingqualities of the big and heavy car.For instance, the w heel base ofthis car is 100 inches, but by meansof the new patented springs on thisear, the riding qualities are the sameas if the car had a wheel base of 130inches.It takes the bumps in the roadwith extreme ease. I^ocal people whohad a ride in it state it is far aheadof any car in riding comfort, outsideof the larger cars.Paul Hutchinson, president of thecompany, states that the companyhas contracted for 143 of these carst to be delivered without further orders during the year, and that theywill be shipped in carload lots directfrom the factoryThe price of the little car is $085cash, delivered.
