A. Fernsler Is chairman of the Midland campaign committee and Mrs. George K. Mums Is lieutenant. Other workers sre L. R. Brown. Mrs. Martin N. Lindsey and Mrs. Robert S. Hurtt.Essay contests tor Midland school children, describing the hospital and its achievements were sponsored in both public and parochial schools.The parochial winners were: Eighth grade, John Palmer; seventh grade, Veronica Koes; sixth grade, Agnes Kadelak; fifth grade, Elizabeth I^ibanc.Public school winners, outside of the high school, were fifth grade, Robert I*unn; sixth grade, Alla Smith.Chairman Kernsler revealed that approximately $1,0(10 has been pledged In Midland so far, with much ground yet to be covered.
